BACK TALK...

As transplants to Louisiana, I was getting depressed over Christmas because I couldn’t locate any community celebrations or holiday fireworks. After reading your December issue [of LRT], we attended holiday celebrations all around the state, met a lot of people, and had a great time. LRT saved Christmas for my family this year.
Jill K., Monroe

Biedenharn Museum & Gardens deserve high praise for opening their home and gardens to the public for the holidays. Their Christmas dress and entertainment were outstanding.
Marcy G., Shreveport

I really enjoyed the article about making cane syrup. I wish I had known earlier about this. I have already marked my calendar for next year because I want to see this done firsthand.
Billy W., El Dorado

(Contributors) Lora Peppers and Schelley Brown are both delightful. Lora gets straight to the point with her in-depth reporter historical accounts while Schelley dances around with entertaining stories. I especially enjoyed her take on the Night Before Christmas – car nut style! Happy New Year to all of you at Louisiana Road Trips. I’m looking forward to many more years of entertainment!
Mike & Jenny G., Baton
